Mercer House is a pair of residential towers by Ellington Properties in Uptown Dubai, set beside Uptown Plaza. Ellington's brochure describes a podium of retail and dining beneath the towers, reached from three drop-off zones and escalators from the ground floor. The apartments run from studios to four-bedroom penthouses, and ownership is freehold.

The South Tower has 34 residential floors and the North Tower 41, in each case above four podium levels, a ground floor and one basement. Each tower has 19 passenger lifts and six service lifts. Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments come with one parking space, and three- and four-bedroom homes with two.

Ellington's floor plans for each tower set out the layouts, and its brochure shows floor-to-ceiling windows facing Uptown Plaza. Ellington's slim brochures list integrated drop-in kitchen sinks in premium units only, and a home automation system for the apartments.

Amenities

Ellington's brochure groups the amenities around sport and wellness, shared across both towers.

Arrival. A drop-off area with three drop-off zones, escalators to the podium, and a lobby with reception and art by emerging Dubai artists.
Sport. A multi-sports hall with a full-size tennis court and space for basketball, football, badminton, netball and volleyball, plus indoor squash and padel courts.
Pools and leisure. An urban beach club with an integrated pool bar, a residential family pool and an adult pool, sun loungers and cabanas, a barbecue deck and open terraces with views over Uptown Plaza.

Main lobby. Natural marble flooring with a geometric pattern, walk-off mats and digital security, locally crafted art, a concierge and security desk, a large bookcase and a work and meeting table.
Residential clubhouse. Double-height ceilings with full-height glazing over the garden and swimming pool, a lounge with a kitchenette, a small co-working centre with a coffee station, and plenty of daylight.
Kids play. Kids-scale furniture, an interactive play area and a kids' bathroom with nursing and baby-change facilities.
Gym and yoga. Commercial-quality equipment, wood and rubber flooring, zoned areas for a full-body workout and a balance bar with a full-height mirror.
Changing rooms. Wet areas with steam and sauna.

Ellington Properties is a Dubai developer founded in 2014, and it describes its approach as design-led. It builds apartment buildings and villas. In Dubai it builds in Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, Emirates Hills, Dubai Hills Estate, Mohammed Bin Rashid City, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Business Bay, Arjan and Dubai Islands. Outside Dubai it is building on Hayat Island in Ras Al Khaimah, in partnership with RAK Properties.
