Dubai Project Location Intelligence · Compare locations
Compare Dubai locations side by side
When two or three sites are on the table, the useful question is how they differ. Place up to three locations and the tool lines up the same official figures for each, measured from each pin, so the differences are plain to see.
- Nearest metro and tram, bus stops, schools, clinics, pharmacies and food and drink outlets, measured from each pin.
- Units due nearby and residents of each community, every figure with its source and date.
- A link that keeps all three locations, and “Email my results” for the full comparison.
The tool
Compare Dubai locations BETA
Pick a letter beside the map, then click the map or search an area or a station to place it. Place at least two locations to see the comparison.
Map layers
Map layers
Every location is measured in a straight line from its own pin, with the same figures the area dashboard shows for that pin. Figures marked community-level are for the whole Dubai Municipality community that holds the pin. Units are from the Dubai Land Department project register, read 18 Oct 2026, rounded to two significant figures.

Guide
How to read the comparison
One row per figure
Each row is one figure, with A, B and C beneath it and the source and date underneath. A row appears when at least one of your locations has that figure.
Measured from each pin
Distances and counts run in a straight line from each location’s own pin, exactly as on the area dashboard. Figures for a whole community are marked community-level.
Keep or send it
Save any of the locations to your shortlist, keep the link, or use “Email my results” to send the whole comparison to your inbox.
Limits
How far to rely on each figure
Straight lines
A straight-line distance is shorter than the walk or the drive. Treat it as a way to compare locations with each other, then check the route on the ground.
Approximate positions
Schools, clinics and pharmacies are published with positions to about 1 km, so their distances are shown as “about” and rounded up.

Questions
Compare locations questions
How do I compare locations in Dubai?
Pick A, then click the map or search an area or a metro or tram station. The tool moves on to B, and then to C if you want a third. Once two locations are placed, their figures sit side by side, one row per figure. Pick a letter again to move that location.
Are the figures the same as the area dashboard shows?
Yes. Each location is measured in a straight line from its own pin with the same figures, sources and dates as the area dashboard, so a location shows the same numbers in both places.
Can I share a comparison?
Yes. The address bar keeps all three locations, so you can bookmark the page or send the link to a colleague and it opens on the same comparison. "Email my results" sends the figures to your inbox.
What does community-level mean?
Some figures, such as residents and public parking spaces, are published only for a whole Dubai Municipality community. Two locations in the same community carry the same community-level figure.
Why is a figure missing for one location and not another?
A unit figure that would rest on fewer than 2 projects, and a count of clinics, pharmacies or food outlets below the publication minimum, is left blank so that no single project or business can be picked out.
