A 150-metre waterfront tower on Marasi Bay, Business Bay
VELA, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, is a residential tower by Omniyat in Business Bay, on the Marasi Bay waterfront that Omniyat places in the Burj Khalifa District. Omniyat describes 38 private residences in a 150-metre tower made of two connected towers, with 272,860 sq ft of floor area. The name comes from the Latin for "sail".
The Dubai Land Department registers the project as number 2653 and, as checked on 8 October 2026, records it as active and under construction.

Homes
The Marina Residences sit lowest in the tower, closest to the water. The Sky Residences are higher up. Omniyat describes the three Penthouses as having double-height ceilings and private pools. The Sky Palace crowns the tower: 22,992 sq ft over three floors, with two swimming pools, large terraces, a private gym and a majlis.
Omniyat lists these features across the residences: floor-to-ceiling windows, terraces, a private lift lobby for each residence and furnished interiors. Select residences have double-height living areas of up to six metres, and select residences have L-shaped corner pools. Views run over the marina, the Dubai Canal and the Burj Khalifa skyline.
Four-bedroom double-height Marina Residences
Omniyat publishes a separate brochure for the four-bedroom double-height Marina Residences with a private pool. It gives their size as 7,338 to 7,373 sq ft and describes a 9.3-metre infinity-edge private pool, a terrace along the full facade, and a double-height formal living room of 9.8 by 12.3 metres. The typical floor plan prints a residence area of 4,894.89 sq ft (454.75 sq m) and a terrace area of 2,478.50 sq ft (230.26 sq m), a total of 7,373.39 sq ft (685.01 sq m). The plan labels a master bedroom, Bedrooms 1 to 3, a maid's room and a private lift lobby.
Amenities and services
Omniyat's VELA amenity list is a main, VIP and marina lobby, an infinity-edge lap pool, a triple-height gym, a spa suite and salon, a kids' room, a cinema room, meeting rooms and a lounge, security and valet.
Omniyat's brochure divides the residents' services into two tiers. The classic service covers common-area maintenance and cleaning, a 24/7 residence concierge, doorman and porter services, valet parking, lifeguard and gym service and 24/7 security. À la carte services include housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, in-residence catering, floristry, bookings and reservations.
