Nakheel is a Dubai-based master developer and a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate. It plans master communities and builds the residential units, shops, hotels and leisure facilities within them, and it owns and runs shopping centres and hotels. Its master developments include Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai Islands, The World and District One. Its other communities include Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle, Al Furjan, Discovery Gardens and International City.

In April 2026 Nakheel awarded the infrastructure contract for Island B at Dubai Islands, and contracts to build 544 villas on Palm Jebel Ali. In June 2026 it said the first villa handovers on Palm Jebel Ali were scheduled for later in the year. In August 2026 it began handing over 892 homes at Jebel Ali Village.
